The biographies of the entrepreneurs included in the publication are the most genuine instances of the history of Italian Industry. There is a lot more to it than mere dates or random anecdotes; the VIP Yearbook is a documented sequence of initiatives which have certainly outlived those people who took them. Their genius, intuition, insight and ability to put their ideas into practice would never have been noticed without the courage and audaciousness through which they were able to take all the risks that might ensue. Their biographies encompass most sectors of industry all over Italy. All Italian industry has found its roots in the ingenuity of these individuals, which witnesses the indelible function of the human being in every economic enterprise. By going through these people’s biographies, the reader can appreciate the broad and wide scenarios that these lives present – far from pre-ordered schemes of family prestige or closed-circuit milieu.
